Our take on our twitter data

The data shown is for most parts updated continuously. Follower numbers are updated twice a day at 5:00 am CET and 3:00 pm CET.
Our database includes elected policy makers currently holding a mandate from the following institutions:
- EU: College of Commissioners, Members of the European Council, Members of the European Parliament, Members of the Committee of the Regions and Members of the European Economic and Social Committee.
- France: Members of the Cabinet, Members of the Senate, Members of the National Assembly
- Germany: Members of the Government, Members of the Bundestag, Members of the Bundesrat
- United Kingdom: Members of Her Majesty’s Government, Members of the House of Lords, Members of the House of Commons.
We might keep policymakers in the database beyond the end of their mandate of if running for higher political offices. When adding policymakers manually (e.g. before elections) it might take up to seven days for data on followers to be correctly displayed. This is currently the case for Armin Laschet and Olaf Scholz.
