The last weeks have been very exciting. Besides seing the number of sources grow, we have received a lot of user feedback.
We have now channeled the feedback, requests and suggestions into a major update that we target to release at the end of the parliamentary summer break.
Here are some of the things we are working on:
1) easier navigation
A recurrent user feedback was about the navigation between different functions (overview dashboard, documents view, policy maker profiles). We are introducing a clearer separation between the functionalities and a central navigation panel.
2) Automatic detection of keyword language
As policies regularly pivote around specific technical terms, we gave users the possibility to enter their keyword in the language of choice. With our upcoming major update, policy-insider.ai will automatically recognize the language of your keyword and display its translations in all available languages, hence giving you more certainty about the completeness of the results provided.
3) An improved monitoring functionality
Whereas we already provide a complete document list for any keyword, navigation, selection and filtering were too complicated. We have redesigned the documents view, simplified and added functionalities to provide a better user experience.
4) More transparency on avaible documents and potential misfunctioning of document collection
We are collecting policy documents from over 150 sources right now. We will provide you a real-time overview for all these sources in terms of completeness, last update, potential delays in processing etc.
5)) An improved debate reader
A feature we are very excited about is providing you additional context when reading through parliamentary debates or other "aggregated" documents such as amendment lists. We will share more in the coming weeks.
Please continue to provide us feedback as this has been crucial to provide you the product you want.
